5 simple ways to stay healthy when travelling

We know first hand how hard it is to stay healthy and feeling fit when your routine is constantly changing but it is possible - promise!

Start with these 5 easy tips and let us know how they work for you…


If you indulge one day, try to be good the next day! If you spend the day hungover in bed, try and get out and be more active the next day! Don’t have consecutive lazy days!

Walk as much as you can

You’re in a new place - get your trainers out and explore! You can burn calories AND get your bearings at the same time! Win win!

Limit alcohol

Drinking is the easiest way to gain weight without noticing it! It’s so easy to finish a surf session and grab a beer…but one beer a day adds up to a lot by the end of the week! Maybe opt for a coconut instead!

Make small goals

Try to write down your fitness goals for the day, week or month. Everyone’s goals will vary, but writing them down encourages action, and will help keep you motivated.

Don’t go more then 3 days without exercising

Try not to go more than 3 days without engaging in some sort of exercise. Head to a yoga class, go surfing or for a run around the local area. Your scenery is forever changing, so there is no time to be bored.

One of the most fun parts of travel is the food and drink and the chance to kick back a little but just be sure to counter balance it all with some movement and healthy choices!
